
Dr. John Budd is a respected family orthodontist serving the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale communities. He graduated with honors earning a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University and went on to earn his D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating first in his class. He stayed at UC San Francisco to complete his three year post-graduate training in orthodontics while also receiving a master’s degree in oral and craniofacial sciences.
Dr. Budd is passionate about orthodontics. He has had his work published in the International Journal of Endodontics and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics Report. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society - an honor given to a small number of doctors who are voted into the organization by their colleagues.
Dr. Budd grew up in Fullerton, California. His wife, Nicole, grew up in Scottsdale and they both enjoy spending time as a family with their two children, Jackson and Savannah.
Dr. Budd is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He loves the variety found in treating both children and adults, and has a special interest in treatment involving temporary anchorage devices (TAD’s), and Invisalign®. Dr. Budd loves to continue learning about developments in the field of orthodontics by attending continuing education meetings and professional study clubs.
