Dr. John Budd received his bachelor’s degree, graduating with honors in Business Management from Brigham Young University. He attended dental school at the prestigious University of California San Francisco and graduated as valedictorian of his dental class earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He stayed in San Francisco to complete his three year post-graduate training in Orthodontics while also receiving a master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. Dr. Budd is passionate about orthodontics. He has had his work published by the International Journal of Endodontics and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society - an honor given to a small number of doctors who are voted into the organization by their colleagues.
Dr. Budd is board-certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Central Arizona Dental Society. He loves the variety found in treating both children and adults, and has special interest in treatment involving temporary anchorage devices (TAD’s) and Invisalign. Dr. Budd loves to continue learning about developments in the field of orthodontics by attending continuing education meetings and professional study clubs.
When not at the office, Dr. Budd loves spending time with his family, going on bike rides, playing basketball, reading books, and baking. He loves the AZ sunshine and being outside in general.
